We hired Jake as our general contractor for our home remodel that involved a new second story including two bedrooms, full bathroom, and a laundry room; a complete kitchen remodel, powder room, and a new family room. You always hear remodel horror stories of cost overruns and project delays, so I had set my own expectations that whatever Jake gave me as a target completion date it would most likely be another 4-6 weeks. But it became quite clear during the first month of our remodel that Jake had an innate ability to manage a schedule, coordinate subcontractors, and execute a task list. He and his team were workhorses. There was always someone working at our house and the drop-off/pickup of material was like clockwork. I remember telling my wife that if this project ends up being late, it would be because of us not making timely decisions on material! He kept us on our toes with picking material as the project progressed and to our surprise, the project was completed early. I can’t speak enough about the quality of work in construction, trim detail, HVAC, electrical, and plumbing. Jake was always available when we had questions and would guide us through available options. There wasn’t anything they couldn’t do, and we couldn’t be happier with the result.
