OUR PROCESS

Have a phone conversation to discuss your project and what you plan to gain from the process. At this time we can discuss construction cost and your budget.

Our company reprensative will come to your home to discuss your project in detail. At this meeting, we will discuss different ideas to see how we can maximize your budget to produce the best product for you.

After identifying the scope of your project, we will have another meeting to review the proposed contract and your allowances for the project.

Once the proposed contract has been formally accepted, the homeowner will work with our architect (if necessary) and our many suppliers to begin picking out the different materials that you plan to work with.

After the final scope of work is approved, JS Cooper will put together all of the necessary documents and submit permits to the Village building department that is most applicable to you.

Once we receive final approval by the Village building department, JS Cooper will work with the homeowner to determine a start date for your project.

During the physical construction, there will be many different contractors working onsite to complete your project. All subcontractors will be under the direction of JS Cooper. Throughout the process, we will discuss the different phases as they come and what you should expect.

Throughout the project, there will be many completion points that will require the Village building department to inspect our work. This will all be coordinated by JS Cooper.

After final completion of the project and final inspection by the Village, JS Cooper will do a final walk through with the homeowner to ensure customer satisfaction.

Once final inspection by homeowner, JS Cooper will provide a 1-year labor customer satisfaction warranty on the finished project.

We offer a free 1-year warranty inspection. This includes a JS Cooper representative inspecting the project 1 year after completion and ensuring everything is maintaining its quality.
